OUR SOUTH HOBART STORE IS CLOSING
Some fresh changes coming this season.
Our SoHo store has been part of the local scene for over a decade.
Nestled in the foothills of kunanyi / Mount Wellington and just minutes from some of Hobart’s most iconic hand-cut trails, it’s been a hub for the mountain biking community.
We've had an absolute blast running it over the years, and we’re proud of the role it’s played in connecting riders, locals, and visitors alike.
Closing the doors hasn’t been an easy decision. Our roots here run deep in the local area, and some might say the SoHo store has become an iconic part of Hobart’s mountain bike history.
While this marks the end of a significant chapter, it also signals a fresh new focus for Cyclingo with a move toward simplicity, quality and spending more time helping to maintain trails and ride with all the amazing people that make up the local Hobart mountain bike scene.
To the Eastside.
We opened the doors to our Eastern Shore store in late 2020, with the vision of creating a space that truly worked for both our workshop and our showroom, something purpose-built to give our customers a smoother, more enjoyable experience from the moment they rolled in.
We’re proud of what we created, even if the timing landed right in the middle of a pretty wild period for the bike industry.
Now that things have calmed down, we’re coming back to that original vision with fresh eyes. Having the team under one roof will make day-to-day life simpler, help us work more closely together, and let us focus on what we love most - offering some of the best brands in the business and making sure your bikes are feeling absolutely dialed.
“ah! welcome to the soft launch of our website!”
We also want to use our new online space as a way of more easily connecting with everyone, this season we aim to get the site set up and running with some pages to keep you up todate on - Events, products, shop and ambassador bio’s.
End of an era.
Although these are only positive changes for Cyclingo, the end of an era is always a little heartfelt. We would like to thank everyone that supported us from the early days in SoHo to help us get to where we are now. We look foward to seeing you at our Eastside Store and on the trails.
